About RC General Contracting Inc
Joshua Newbigging founded the company in Guelph, Ontario, as Royal City General Contracting INC in 2017. The company relocated to Kincardine, Ontario, in 2026.
Joshua has almost two decades of construction experience. He is a fully certified Red Seal carpenter, licensed to work across Canada. RC General Contracting Inc is fully licensed, insured and incorporated.
We only hire experienced professionals who are fully trained in the latest and best techniques to complete your projects.
How we work
We work with you throughout the project so you stay informed and involved. We aim to make remodelling as painless as possible, with clean work sites, floor protection and barriers to contain dust and mess.
We perform most tasks in-house. For work we cannot legally complete ourselves, such as plumbing and electrical, we bring in trusted, fully licensed professionals. We are almost never held up by a trade and can maintain quality control so your project runs smoothly, is done properly and looks good.
